Please submit thoughts in a numbered list. For example
1. NP
2. CP
1. Lets start with a ratty RHD NB Miata for $4500.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
2. Then moving on to a RHD SC300 with a cloth (?) interior and somewhat of a Soarer conversion for $9000.
This image was lost some time after publication.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
3. Here, we have a RHD Integra Type R with a salvage title and in need of a new paint job. The price for all this magnificence? $11000
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
4. Here, we have a salvage Mk6 GTI making a claimed 275 HP. $12,500.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
5. Next, we have a BMW 325iC with somewhat of a Dinan treatment, the details of which aren't exactly clear. I will say that it seems kind of strange to have the Dinan treatment done to a 25i rather than a 30i. That and the somewhat sketchy insurance-funded repainting make me shy from this one for $12,000.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
6. Here we have a 98 M3 convertible (with hardtop) making a claimed 280 HP with some aftermarket bits. Will the auto mean it's $11,500 price tag isn't worth it?
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
7. This one is a bit strange. It's a Dinan Z3 "supercar" making 350-360 HP on a "Stage III" motor. I kind of hate the stage designation because it doesn't give too much info on mods, but whatever. They also claim a top speed of 175 and an 8000 RPM readline. Does the dodgy spoiler and dodgy details mean this Z isn't worth $28k? You decide.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
8. The mini-M5. This baby is a 540i/6MT with a Vortech supercharger bolted on. This combination sounds deadly, but it should be noted that the car also has a wheel wobble from a bent rim and a slight oil leak. Does that make this $8500 mini-M5 a bargain or a bin?
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
9. Is this the perfect Mini? It's an R53 Cooper S in light blue with the full Dinan treatment, rally lights and only 33,000 miles. And the correct 6MT. Will that make it worth $13,000?
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
10. A modified Evo with 408 WHP. This makes me think the speed would be pretty insane, somewhat like the body kit. So many wings and diffusers! $15k for a car that beats a Gallardo around the Top Gear track may seem like a bargain, but will the salvage title stop it from taking the title of "Nice Price?"

All Crack pipes.
Anything that is modded is automatically CP in my book. Most people that sell modded cars do so because they have a problem or drive poorly. Why else would you sell something that you built exactly how you wanted knowing you are going to lose all that money you put into modding it. I'm sure there are perfect modded cars out there that are being sold because the seller has hit hard times or can't afford to keep the car but they are few and far between.

That evo has been driven into the ground! Holy crap new found respect for them if they last that long. Not a nice price though, still a little too much for what I'd pay but damn I'd be lying if I said I don't want it bad.

That's quite a generalization. Stuff like the Mini, Z3 and M3 are nearly a factory job.

It's just my personal opinion, just like buying other peoples failed projects, it's not for me. so no matter the price if it's modded I stay away. Also modded cars tend to be heavily beat on, well used. Last thing, any modded car that has something little wrong with it that the seller discloses likely has something much larger wrong with it too. If you spent all that time and money on mods you would fix the little piddly stuff if you cared about the car at all.

Out of all of these, I would only like to purchase the Type R. Still, it seems really sketchy. Otherwise, I not so sure about all of the others, so my vote goes to crack pipe.
